A little about me
I grew up in Spijkenisse, nearby Rotterdam (Holland). When I was 15 or 16 I bought my first SLR camera; a Minolta XG1.
I organized a dark room in my bathroom and became an enthousiast photographer. I was stuck by the beautiful photos of Jan Saudek and started to do hancolouring.
Now I'm almost an old man of 59 years old. Working in healthcare. Married and father of a son and a daughter. I still like photography but art, poetry and design as well.
Since 2020 I have an atelier in an old factory where I started to do tintype or wetplate photography; making pictures as they did in 1851. This old factory and the creative people who have there ateliers there as well are very inspiring.
In this digital portfolio I will explore my (creative) self and you can join, if you want.
